Jean-Michel Blais is a French Canadian composer and pianist from Montreal, Canada. Blais pairs the melodic pop sensibilities of Yann Tiersen and Chilly Gonzales with the breathtaking technical skill of minimalist composers like Philip Glass and Erik Satie. The 68 page sheet music book includes all sheet music from Jean-Michel’s 2018 full-length album, Dans Ma Main with the addition of sans titre (andante), focus track from Jean-Michel Blais newest EP, eviction sessions. The electronics present in Dans Ma Main have been stripped back and transcribed from acoustic versions with the exception of fortresse and god(s) which have been left out due to the weight of electronics vs piano in the original tracks. Many of the eviction session live videos were used as reference points for the transcriber.
